MY WRITING

I write primarily Speculative Fiction, focusing on adult fantasy and / or mixed genre and including MCs and OCs who are LGBTQ+ and / or PoCs (because the spec-fic world could use some more LGBTQ+ &/or PoC heroes! Especially of the Latinx variety, which is a group I strongly feel is ignored or left out of these convos more than any other, atm.)

I’ve finished 3 novels, started several others, had a few short stories published in writing magazines, and been a finalist for a couple of speculative fiction awards in the UK. My eventual dream / goal is to make a living as an author.

OTHER INTERESTS

I adore cute animals; some of my faves include axolotls, bunnies, dogs, foxes, kitties, owls, and stingrays. I may post these when I feel I need a cute thing in my life that day.

I’m a huge ocean & outer space geek, & can often get lost in a google search or while sketching one or both of these subjects.

I love performing / singing, reading, writing, going on adventures, travelling (though I get to do very little of this one), watching movies, and making themed playlists with descriptive names (my most recent being Cirque Macabre).

I practice yoga & HIIT, I’m new to long-distance running (ZombiesRUN! FTW), & I love dancing & swimming when I can get to a studio or a pool.

I've been trying to gain fluency in Spanish for a few years now.

TLDR: For background on this, one side of mi familia speaks almost exclusively in Spanish. Pero my maternal-gene-donor didn't allow me to learn as a kid, I suspect because her BPD made her think if I learnt another language, I could talk behind her back in it or something stupid like that. So, despite the fact that her entire side of la familia speaks Spanish (and several of them don't speak English, at all), I couldn't start learning till I got away from her entirely, and have only recently gained access to the kinds of learning tools that might get me where I want to be.

I watch way too much T.V. & YouTube.

I play too many hours of videogames: faves include Animal Crossing, Hob, Hollow Knight, Lego Dimensions, Portal, The Dark Pictures Series, & The Sexy Brutale.

FOR FUN

If I could live anywhere: I'd live in my own hobbit hole in New Zealand. Alone. ~~Any partners of mine can get their own. Even if I love you, I still need my own space, k? ;P~~

My favorite colors are: sky blue and bright pink are my top faves, but I also love dark purple, deep red, black, silver, cyan, turquoise, and almost any type of blue.

If I were a cookie, I'd be: either a biscochito or a snickerdoodle.

My three wishes: (1)that I'll spend most of the rest of my life making art; (2) that I'll be able to be independent and have my own space(s) where I can be alone when I need to be soon; (3) that I will change the world for the better.
